I have been tuning my vy, and no matter what I do i cannot richen or lean the mixtures.
Have tried changing the PE and also the table OPEN LOOP AFR VS MCG VS RPM
Checked where it is going on the map during a power run, changed the afr up 2 afr and down 2 afr but it does not budge at all.
How are you guys changing the fuel map on this?

Re: unable to adjust fuel
Those tables (PE and Open Loop.....) adjust the target AFR but to make actual adjustments you need to alter the Injector Rate Constant table.
How are you changing these tables (software etc)?

Re: unable to adjust fuel
I am using a aldl cable and the pcmhacking flash tool, and using tunerpro rt.
I dont want to adjust the fuel all over i just want to adjust the fuel at full load after 3000rpm not on cruise and idle etc so doing an overall correction is not what im looking for.
I just want to adjust it in this area (i can see where it goes with a map trace)
no matter what i do i cannot get the fuel to move in either direction.
also i want to adjust the fuel up to 6000rpm where the table finishes at 4800
cheers

Re: unable to adjust fuel
I also tried a table in the injector options, but it did not work.
If i was to lean it off, then i would lower the numbers in the circle in that area?
change the 1.010 to 0.900 in the circle did not change the fueling either?

Re: unable to adjust fuel
open loop wont work unless you've told it to stay in open loop, yep the injector table is a multiplier for the injector pulse so lowering it will output less fuel. From the look of your picture the table doesn't look right, id say you have the wrong XDF

Re: unable to adjust fuel
is the changed tune actually getting to the car ??
do a get bin from the flashtool and see if there are any changes ?

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: unable to adjust fuel
I have done that test yesterday actually, and yes it is getting to the car.
as i stated above that xdf and bin file was on home desktop pc that i just opened up to make an example.
Here is the version in the maps i am using.
Maybe i have not corrected the values enough, il try going down to 0.750 and see what it does.
So if this is where you need to adjust the fuel then I will play with it a bit more and see if i can get a straight 13.2afr line
Cheers

Re: unable to adjust fuel
you have some cells at 0 which is extreme, without seeing the bin and xdf i can't say 100% they match, for example 1.00 to 1.10 is a 10% increase in fueling, 1.00 to 0.90 is a 10% decrease in fueling. Something isn't right by the sounds of it.

Re: unable to adjust fuel
Yeah it looks to me like that XDF does not match that bin. The first rows look very wrong, so changes elsewhere in the file could be doing anything.
I cant see the bin version you have there but thats the 060A XDF and you might need the 060B
Have a look at the version in the identification part (should be the same address in both bins so you can see the bin version even if it is the wrong XDF)
