holden jackaroo (isuzu 4JX1) injector tuning

Post by barnsie46 »

i was wondering if anyone has done any tuning on these? as the computer thats in this Holden Jackaroo is blown and i need to replace it, are they able to be just swapped or do they have security like late model commodores that stop computers being swapped?
i do know its obd2 and the
service no: 16252667 and the tune is CZTU
what would the best cord to read this tune be?

and he belives its the computer
based on what? rare but not impossible, I've only ever had to replace one ECU over the years and that was for a dead injector driver...

I'd be getting another opinion, the oil pressure switch on the rail is the most common cause of them not starting

Yes, you need a scan tool to read the oil pressure, the ecu won't drive the injectors until a predetermined pressure is reached. You can often see oil pissing out of them while cranking (with the rocker cover off) which confirms that the sensor is dead.
