Vt v6 powerchip xdf ? and 1st 2nd upshift mod

I have a mate asking me if i can help with a tune for a vt v6 i figured the powerchip bin from the custom download section would be ok for him and he wants to stop it shifting into second when doing burnouts anyone know how this is done ?
And what xdf lines up with that bin ?

Easy enough to stop it shifting into second, have also added one to a mates to force 2nd gear so it won't automatically drop back to first, this also makes it launch in second if in D2 position.
I think when I had a look at the powerchip bin all they did was add a couple of degrees of spark up top and possibly Power Enrichment TPS a little bit earlier.
Find out what bin is already in the vehicle and I'll tell you what to change.

speaking of such things, I modded bmzc on a VS v8 auto and fixed up all the shift points so that in manual mode it stays exactly in the gear you leave the stick can shift up to 4th @10kph if you put the stick there, and no downshifting when you dont want it

To get 1st gear (D1) from auto changing into second change $2253 from a $01 to $00.
I'm pretty sure if you change $2010 from $4A to $6A it will hold second gear when in D2.

Whats the story with the vt checksum in tp5 i set programme i.d to AA but i noticed when i did a compare to the original bin that the checksum had changed.
does it auto calculate checksum for you with no need for AA ?
Also that powerchip bin seems to line up fine with version c for anyone else wanting to try it.

Checksum is located $2006/7 and is calculated from $2008 through to $1FFFF.
I have it in most of the xdf's, look in the header info to see whether it is in there and also whether it is correct.
Note that when tuning with realtime on Ostrich or NVRAM you will need to set to $AA while making changes.

the mode cals is the correct place to set the forced upshift

in the V6 these cals start at $204E
