well if backing the AFR off morre makes no difference to power and it doesn't get to hot i'd back it off even more .... like 12.8 or so ....

which maf reading are you looking at ? i was watching mg / cyl and it was set to 255 max, i changed that to max at 1000 and it went a bit over 700....

maf hz went almost to 10000 .....

I am looking at the Manifold air flow it is measured in grms/sec. How do I change the scale on the trends?
I notice that the when it reaches 255grms/sec the afr leans out to 16:1 so thats why I think that the MAF is reaching its limit

Looking at the log it appears to max the MAF, can only get 255g/s of total flow and your hitting that. But at 5600 RPM where your saying its breaking down the inj PW is dropping to 0 due to the rev limit settings. NB O2 sensors are still ok up to that point so think there is still more in it before the MAF is an issue, the wideband would have shown a lean reading due to the revlimit.

You haven't increased the rev limit at $4C02-07 as per earlier posts.
I have increased to Fuel cut to 6350 ($FE) and fuel resume to 6250 ($FA).
See how you go with this.

Found out that while the check engine light is on I don't get any interferance but as soon as it goes out I start getting errors in the log and still can't seam to be able to upload the cal yet so have been doing the tune the long way.
Dose anyone have any sugestions as why this might be happening?
also if I connect before I start the engine it won't crank

the no crank is normal... its the vats. if you take over the comms then the BCM cant talk to the PCM and tell it that it is ok to crank. sorry, I dont remember seeign you write which interface you are using.. with a 12v car powered serial board I had heaps of interference in VS and VT. once I upgraded to VL400's 5V usb powered board all the interference was gone.

Its possible that the BCM or something is still using the bus to talk. The disable BCM chatter command looks ok, but maybe its getting interrupted when being sent to the BCM.

What fault codes are you getting? The CEL may be that the dash is no longer getting data too, when logging with and without errors is there any difference with the dash? ie does it work when the CEL is on?

The Check Engine Light will come on when logging, along with the SRS airbag light.
Basically coms are disabled and if the dash doesn't get info on airbags and other stuff from PCM every few seconds it puts up an error.
You will also notice that the fuel usage doesn't work as the datatsream is no longer coming from the PCM as it is transmitting logging data.
Other side affects are that the engine fans will automtically come on as there is no communication between the PCM and BCM.
I have also had problems starting the vehicle at times if I have disabled chatter from the BCM before it has linked to the PCM due to VATS.
If the check engine light is off (or intermittent) there will be other communication on the bus that hasn't been disabled.
