Pretty drastic change in design.. in every way. I don't like the look of it.. its like a mazda 3 shacked up with an Alpha romeo.
I think the only thing Im excited about.. is to ripout its electronics

They would have been better off changing the name. They have attempted to retain some of the VF rear styling to keep a family resemblance but it is still a FWD designed vehicle,and only the VXR (a name space used by Vauxhall for the Australian built Commodore sold over there in the high performance market) gets AWD. I won't be "upgrading" to it or any other new "Holden" that is primarily a FWD vehicle.
I thought it was a FWD, although reading that link indicates its actually AWD?

yes, when do we get the Camaro and Pontiac, hell even the Cadillac is a serious monster when it comes to performance and its way more family friendly and luxury than this shit and looks better too.

Where have you been since the GFC? Pontiac was axed in late 2010 and the G8 was a rebadged Commodore anyway.
