microtech mf-1

Post by wotwentwong »

gday again guys

any chance anyone would know what i should set my microfueler mf-1 at? its atop yellaterra belt driven charger and piggy backed to my delco pcm on a 5ltr vs ute,and after consultation on this site i am now worried it may be leaning out under boost.
there are three dials,i dont know what the first one is , the second is aux fuel start (which at the moment is set at 5) and the third is enrichment and it is currently set at 50%(0-100%) and im not sure once the aux fires at 5psi and increases as boost builds or not.
even a reccomended setting will do as i have tried to find settings on web but to no avail
i will try and attatch a pic to illistrate
thanks again

The best way would be to get a memcal done by a member on here to fix the injector constant with the larger injectors, the off boost will then be ok. Then pay for a dyno session to get the boost settings dialled in on the MF-1 to get the fuel ok. Timing also needs to be retarded for the boost. This can kind of be done in the memcal by reducing the 100kPa timing to a boost safe value but means it will never be the optimum value.

Your other option is to contact yellaterra and ask what the default setting is for a 5L but this really is not going to ensure YOUR car is ok.
