I have a vr ss ecu and a vr aldl plug just wondering
if anyone has a wiring diagram or pics
of the vr plug wired in place of the vn one.
idea is to have the faster baud rate and
use the ob2 aldl plug.
any help on this would be much appreciated.

Re: vn to vr 0bd2 plug and vr v8 ecu wiring
I use a VR manual ECU in place of the VN one for high speed data, the connection you want is pin A8 on the ECU. Because my car is a manual I swapped the TCC wire (originally pin A7) to this, the wire goes directly the VN diagnostic connector right beside the CEL, alter your cable to suit and it works like a charm with no butchering any wiring.

Re: vn to vr 0bd2 plug and vr v8 ecu wiring
you cant use the vn data wire cause its the check engine light wire will need to run another wire to the plug or as above use the tcc wire thats allready in the vn aldl plug and at the ecu

Pin a8 from the ecm should go to pin 9 on the vr vs obd2 type connector
