why not? a8 is what im meant to hook up yeh?
the old white black is not beingf used so ive taken plug apart moved
pin a9 to a8 cut at old vn diag plug so it now goes to pin 9 on vr.
sorry if i didnt explain it better.

youll need it for setting base timing etc and flashing codes out the check engine light
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

A9 on the vr ecm needs to go to ground earth for timing mode fault codes etc
