The rest of the dash still works as normal. I still can't manage to download the cal through TP5. It dosn't want to reconise any hardware attached. I haven't tried the flash tool yet. (I didn't have it loaded on the laptop that I was using)

The plugin wont recognise the bin as its a factory one, will need to use a RealTime enabled bin. I have used CJDN for that which is $A6C, the same variant as the CFZF bin your using so the cal will go over easily. Did you want to try the bin and let us know how it goes? Its a beta release and not available on the site until its been vehicle tested, will mean you can upload and download via the plugin/flashtool for tuning changes.

This is the tune that I have finaly come up with for the VT if anyone is interested. I ended up using the tune out of the 5ltr (modified CDJN bin) with the maps off the CFZF thanks to some help from VL400  This was so I could upload or download the cal to the NVRAM (I still couldn't get it to work but I think it might have been operator error :? ) We ended up with just above 350rwhp at 6200rpm. We are going to have a bit more of a play with it at a later date to do some more fine tunning.

Yes still running the maf sensor
There is talk about doing a mafless tune later on but I need to do a bit more research on going mafless :geek:
The manifold vacume is starting to increase from about 5600rpm onwards indicating a restricted air flow

not too bad though, my 202 is pulling vaccum alot lower than that (only minimal kpa's though) might be worth another 10hp!

Just got word from the owner of the GTS that he is going to drop the car back in to get some more work done on it in a couple of months. he wan't to increase the rev limit to get the full potential of the cam and wants to open the intake up to reduce the restriction of the extra RPM.
Has anyone had any experience with going higher that the 6250 rev limit that the standard VT bin can handle and also may have to go mafless with the intake that he wants to use?
Will I have to start looking at an aftermarket computer and how will that work with BCM ect?
