It looks as though they are a custom bin not based on any factory bins. Also looks as though it has aldl write enabled .Device id is f4 not f5 like vs factory bin ,very interesting . :study:

well the COME chip that came with a motor i bought only looked different as far as the sticker on the eprom went, other than that it looked like a totally stock memcal .... so on that basis i don't think theres any security on it.

I did email COME with a picture of it etc and they were able to tell me what camshaft profile of theres was in the engine but thats about it.

i guess its really a matter of getting COME to re-tune it or start from scratch with something else like the stuff available on this forum ... i never bothered much with the one i have as the engine is going to be re-built with another cam and i'll tune it then so i wasn't too worried, more just wanted to get a feel for what it had in it.

The flashtool wont ID come bins, but you could use the custom mapping if you know the bin mapping and write mode.

Also, VS V8 is still F4 device ID.

ive seen one come chip with a kalmaker looking PAL on it and another that was just a board with a heap of resistors and a Square memory chip on it. the fancy one wouldnt read on the willem but could read with the flashtool. I exctracted the fuel and spark and put them into a $12P. worked great.
