16199728_ver2.xdf tweaking fan speed
running a 81c thermo in my car so im using the 16199728_ver2.xdf with BWPJ stock tune and ive changed lean cruise stuff which is working well, i also changed the fan speed cut in out temps but when it reaches the required temp for low fan to cut in it just revs the engine, i will do some more testing tonight to see if i can find an error in my values but just wanted to check if anyone knew what might be going on.

low speed fan is connected to the BCM activated by a data packet across the aldl bus, just note that while logging, the data packet cant get across the bus from the PCM to the BCM so the low fan cant activate. it will only work whle your aldl is disconnected. also maybe check the wiring to make sure the low speed circuit to the BCM is connected properly.

was my own stupid fault, i didn't set one of the temps, so it was trying to turn off and on at the same time, slaps forehead!

i had the same problem in the ecotec realtime tune, set the high fan settings to below the low fan settings and the relay went balistic and rpms increased!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

haha yeh, i had burnt it the night before and was testing it out on the way to work, stopped at the lights and it heated up a bit then started revving, holds brakes lol
