TunerPro Probs.

Post by v6bucket »

I've installed TP5 to pc & laptop so that I can connect to my 808 via a USB comms board. I mustn't have something installed correctly because when I attempt to connect via Acquisition/Load Definition file TP5 closes with a tell Microsoft warning. This happens whether it's connected to the 808 or not. What am I doing wrong?

Ok, we need to wind back a few steps.. What version of tuner pro? What version of the plugin? Did you select the plugin in tunerpro for emulation and data aqusition (logging)? Did you configure the plugin for the right com port? Do you have echo set correctly for the plugin? Does the same com port work ok from the flash tool?

If thats all ok, then we'll dig a bit deeper to figure it out.

TunerPro version 5.00.7004.00.
TPMoatesEmulatorplugin.dll version 1.0.0
The rest of the questions, I don't know. I think I followed the instructions, but don't remember these things coming up.

Hi again,

Ive been back over the instructions and cleared up the wording a bit and added a screenshot to help. Check your setup against that post again, and see if it helps.

Im having similar problem when i load vr $11 v1.03 tp5 adx into latest version tuner pro crashes .Jamie fixed another adx that was doing the same thing , its got something to do with a faulty equation in the adx . To get the $11 adx to load you will need to change engine run time equation .

To download? Its in the thread just under the bubble tracing picture.

Follow the install instructions then configure it in the preferences area - NOTE: You MUST use cable echo due to having the USB version.

Ok,I've sorted TP5 shutting down thanks to VL400, Antus & vn5000. Antus says quote"Connect your ECM and Back on the tunerpro main page select 'Auto Detect Attached Hardware'. Tunerpro should say "hardware: OSE12 Pro V1.1.0" or similar down the bottom of the page and the upload/download/emulation buttons should light up. Load the OSE12P xdf and adx files and logging and emulation (if running from NVRAM) should now be working!" Ican't find the "Auto Detect Attached Hardware".

The easiest way would be not to use the plugin (seeing as you dont have an NVRAM setup) or if you do just connect everything up then start TP. It will detect the ECM on start-up. Then click the button with two blue arrows to start logging.
