Seen it again today high comp v8 with a cam running rich not tuned
Ngk plugs with the v groove in the electrode worked fine then he changed to new standard ngk plugs they fouled and the car wouldn't even start.
He then changed back to the original started up ran fine.

For what its worth...from a novice point of view...I've used various spark plugs and found gm to be ok, champion all but useless, ngk ok but not marvelous but bosch have been by far the best for me....bearing in mind, the engine has been running rich as and it is almost totally stock...the problem I found with ngk is the newer ones seem more prone to failure than the original...also if the car had any more complex mods (forced induction etc) it may have produced a different result...just my two cents....
