Re: VY SS Sedan auto
The fitment and quality is surprisingly really good. It exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. I’ll have no dramas buying exhausts from them again. The whole centre section is a slip on fit with clamps, so I simply left the centre part lose till the end and lined up the mufflers before tightening them down. I didn’t even need to bend any hangers or anything like that. Like normal with pretty much every v8 the extractors weren’t so easy and needed to drop the rack.vs ss wrote:Nice job. How do those empire exhausts fit??

The misses car was ready from the painters just before Xmas as well. Was a couple late nights as we needed to get that painted and then straight into the sunroof place so it would be ready.

Fitted a catch can some number plate protectors, and used some touch up paint to fix a couple little spots. Come up pretty good. Been copying a few things here and there out of the 2001 camaro tunes lately as well. There really not a bad little tuneup.

Yeah that plastic surround come out pretty good. It’s hard to get that neat fit and finish. I’ve been looking into fitting a vz ls1 valley cover, along with using the catch can. They make manifold insulators as well for pretty cheap. And maybe use some of that heat tape stuff on the underside of the otr. I should of ceramic coated the extractors as well.
