Tuning VR V8 AUTO TURBO

Post by turbov8 »

Hey all.
I am looking at tuning my VR V8 AUTO TURBO!
Ive looked over the site briefly and have a basic understanding of whats involved in tuning. But doesnt seem to be anything for $11 2 bar.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to getting this car tuned realtime with the delco
I understand i need to use tunerpro RT with the plugin, and get a nvram board???
Would like to learn more about tuning this beast if anyone can spare the time to help.
Cheers

well you should be able to do realtime without too many issues with the stock bins VL400 has modded for realtime but they don't support boost unfortunatelly so im not too sure how you'll go with that.

Are you sure its a auto bin ,most vr auto bins ive seen are 64k .
What ecu are you running it on.
Does the check eng light go out when you start it.Its an unusual looking bin ,where is it from, and what xdf are you using with it ?

well for starters, can you describe what happens when you try to run this tune? you havent given us much to go on.

that timing..... is pretty high for a turbo v8 you want to be careful its not pinging
