the 3 pin round plug is for the oil pressure sensor, i normally dont use, but if you wanted to use it for the oil pressure light you can by using the blue wire, the orange and purple are to allow the fuel pump to run once there is oil pressure.
most of the wires in the rectangle grey plug are for things like a/c fuel pump and fans to control relays, as that plug connects to the relay box in a commodore engine bay.
this might help you for a basic stand alone loom to get it running.

so in other news last night i got to test this thing, wound it over with no plugs, couldn't get an rpm trace in the logs, fiddled with the crank sensor to no avail, got an abs sensor i had spare and sure enough it works, so i modified my bracket to use it, so i now have a nice solid 200rpm cranking trace.
the next step was to put a timing light on it to see if the crank notches ere anywhere near close, but of course my timing light just up and died so i cant do that.
i was hoping i could just fire it up and see if it ran at all ok, but of course the fuel pump doesnt work anymore either!!!
that was stumps and beer o'clock for the night (and shut the shed in disgust!)
so i have a new timing light on order, and in the mean time i am going to fit up the FX tank and lift pum which is an 044 so should be plenty lol
hopefully running vid later!
