Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
Vb went on the dyno again today to test a genuine garret 3540 in a 1.06 housing off a you know what DROF haha solid 20+rwkw gains everywhere at the same boost. 20 degree higher iat's though. Also tested pre cooler pressure vs intake manifold pressure 1.5-1.8 psi more on the hot side so it's still flowing pretty damn good at getting close to 700 crank hp haha

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
what did you have before a .82 housing ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

0.84 twin scroll. Don't know if the turbo is dead from racing or convertor can't stall it up now just sits at 3psi lol

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
i was going to ask how much difference the larger rear made to spooling it up, but it sounds like thats the least of your issues :S

Re: DELCOS NEW RIDE
Nicely done with the reference on the alternator
This will absolutely haul ass! The alloytec despite chain issues, which is more of a maintenance issue are very strong and make excellent power for the displacement, NA and especially boosted.
It's very common for VE-VF to make well into the 400 wheel Kw with moderate boost and not much else done to the engine and no issues long term. Kinda funny how this is completely ignored by most and they champion Barras with springs, head studs and oil pump upgrades getting over the mid 300s as something special but say you need after market rods when going over the 400+ range. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
