BCM issues

Post by BARBS »

Hi guys

I have been asked by a mate to help sort some issues on a VX that has had a L67 fitted.

The guy has a L67 with a '396' ecu installed. The old '445' has been removed, In doing so the new ECU doesn't talk to the BCM and the AC etc isn't working any more. He simply has an eBay chip in it ATM.

Is there a way to get the 396 working with an NVRAM and VX BCM?
Or do I need to go back to the 445 and use the correct flashtool?

Thanks for your help here.

396 ecu will be fine if its on a vx l67 wiring harness and has the correct tune. If it doesn't have a vx tune all the modules won't talk to each other properly

You will want to run the 1s enhanced vx l67 tune it's in the custom code section factory bin files don't allow aldl uploads and real-time tuning
