I could see there was clearance issue and managed to get round it by carefully cutting and filing the shoulders on the IC pins to allow the IC to sit flush on the PCB. I also filled down all the protruding solder connections on the underside of the PCB. This gave me the two mm required to get the plastic case back on without modifying it.
The "Serial install.exe" did the trick. It was great to see the CCACM come up in device manager.
Ran the flash tool and successfully changed the time on the RTC. I have had a great day.
I know there is more to learn.
Thanks VL400

This formula 17.97 - (x * 0.031914062) is what I am using with OSE12P and a Motec PLM. Works great. Not sure how to transpose the formula to work for the logger. Its been a long time since I was at school

Is there any chance of making the motec like most other widebands with a positive scale? They also use 0.5 lambda = 0v and 1.75 lambda = 5v for I think the M8?
While the logger can log your wideband and display it in TP using the current calculation, to display the actual AFR on the LCD will need some firmware mods.

Kojab,i'm using a motec PLM as well and its wired in to use with 12P and BLCF what values need to be changed in either 12P and the PLM software.
I havent had a chance to look at what i have to change plus i probably wouldn't know lol.
Any chance of a screen shot/s of what i need to do.....if thats ok with you.
cheers.....Mario

Also have to set the max to 25.6 and the min to 0 in OSE12P. Thanks to VL400 in this thread

Still working my way through TP and the ALDL Logger. I have a problem I can't seem to solve. I have made simple mods to the A5.adx (logger adx). Recorded a log and although the xdl appears to load in TP, I cannot view it. When it does load and work with other xdl's I always see the drag bar under the monitors. In this case when loading the xdl along with the modified A5.adx the drag bar never appears and no data is seen in the monitors. I am using the same modified adx file in TP as I have in the ALDL logger. What am I not doing correctly.

- A5-VT-VY.adx
- This is the modified Logger A5.adx
- (83.58 KiB) Downloaded 372 times
- A5-VT-01.XDL
- This is the log I made yesterday
- (183.55 KiB) Downloaded 369 times
I feel like I must be doing some thing really fundamentally wrong for this log file not to display.
