I was one of the fortunate people who snapped up a ALDL Logger from VL400.

Today i fitted the logger into its case and done some testing.

VL400 has helped with a $11 adx for the logger, will modify this for addition input for my wideband.

Hopefuly do some logging with it tomorrow purely for testing

Soon will be converting to Ls1 T56 and running 12P

Big thanks to VL400.

Ok heres a $11 ADX for the logger that works in Tunerpro. (thanks vl400)

Has wideband input on Analogue 1 (green wire) and has gauge in Tunerpro dash for it. Also history table for wideband.

Wideband also shows up as item 12 in the logger.

Logger is GREAT for anyone not using 12P as u dont have crap resolution from using the inject voltage 0-25v when using 0-5v from innovative/AEM widebands and still gets logged in sync with everything else! :)

I highly recommend this little unit!! i might buy a couple more myself.

Thanks for testing the $11 ADX, have added them to the zip now - will add your changes too.

Have also released V1.02, it fixes two issues relating to the ADX parsing changes of V1.01. For VT and later the write was really slow due to some commands being missed, was only writing in free time on the bus ie one frame every 300ms

Well here is another one. Like turbov8 I too was lucky enough to get one of these little beauty's. I can see it being one of my favourite tools.

With the new V1.02 firmware a "Get Cal" file size of 16384 bytes will take 24 seconds and to "Write Cal" the same file back takes 1 min 10 seconds. Great improvement over V1.01 which took close to 17 min.

Speed with OSE12P is very fast 10 sec for both get and write.

Upgrading firmware was very easy and quick.

Thanks VL400

just a question VL400, with my earlier "prototype" logger, it looks like the display is further away from the buttons here than mine, is that correct or am i just tripping ?

Thanks for the feedback :) Very neat job on the cutting and drilling too. 12P has a nice speed advantage of 128 byte read and write packets compared to 64 byte read and 8 byte write of other code types.

@Holden202: Should be very similar as the buttons board is the same (although it does look a little different), might just be the way the screen is cutout?

ALDL Logger with real time clock installed. Hope I put it in the right location. GND and 5v lined up ok.

Trying to get the real time clock (DS1307) to work.

I have loaded LOGGER.ADX into the ALDL Logger, and with the USB cable supplied plugged into the laptop I see in device manager "Other devices / USB Serial" appear.
Not sure how to configure TunerPro to use the virtual com port of the logger.

Looks good, it will need the case modified with it installed there  Its just a mm or so too tall. It can also be stuck to the PCB on the opposite side of the board to the SD card but needs some jumper wire to connect it up.

In the PDF instructions there is a section on getting the virtual com port to work, you need to download and run an app .. http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/serial_install.exe . Once that is done the flashtool can be used to configure the time (instructions have some screen shots)

The logger.adx is to be run by the PC, load it like a normal ADX and using the virtual port it will just log the logger.
