before anyone points out that theres no intercooler in there, i know!!!
bit more work on the dump pipe tomorrow and tidy up a few other bits while we wait for the wastegate to turn up!

well progress has slowed a bit ... i guess mostly cause alot of the progress is tidying things up etc .... anyways heres what we've done since the last update.
got the wastegate finally and got the flange fitted to the zorst. he's going to run it with a screamer pipe so thats pretty much done other than a vacuum line!

also made a re-location for the coil packs, it works out well, it braces on the back with the bracket that holds the alternator!!

at the moment hes tidying up welds on the pipes and painting etc. got an idea in the pipe lines for oil drain to do it without having to remove the sump and then we are just waiting on the oil feed lines and return turbo fitting to arrive.
looking at walbro in tank pump upgrade and then i have some 80lb dekas and a 2 bar map he will use for the time being to get it going.
oh and theres some more pipe work to do to get the dump pipe down to the rest of the exhaust but waiting on some pipes for that.

for longevity of the engine i would run a stock intank pump and a surge tank with external pump .commodores are just to prone to sucking air when turning corners that i wouldnt run without a surge or you have to run allways well above 1/4 a tank mark

i suggested that option but i don't think hes too keen and wants the in tank one.

just had its first test run on the street last night, so it was only a "roughly" to get started tune and the fuel pump i believe is not up to the task, BUT even at 5psi on a leanish tune and 60% throttle it felt VERY nice
getting a walbro in tank pump and the wideband fitted to it in the next few days then we should be good to go with some more test and tuning!! shes looking promising though i must say.

sounds a bit like pulling a grenade pin on the turbo and the motor - need filter!
