There is a diagram here but only shows up to 64kB... http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=655

As you would have worked out from what antus wrote, your offset should be 10000 not 8000. But it does depend on what the unused address pin is doing - tied to gnd or 5V. If its tied to gnd then no offset will be used. TunerPro can stack the bin for you so you dont need to worry about offsets.

To disable VATS you will tick the box.

VL400, re disabling VATS
That's exactly what I thought. ticked box = VATS disabled

So when the downloaded bin (presumably stock in case of what I am modifying) has the checkbox ticked, it is not actually a stock bin as the VATS has been disabled?
BWFU0310.BIN
this is the bin

The bin is from the Memcal ID tool list

Its cleared in that bin, so VATS is enabled.

The XDF the1 posted earlier has the VATS flag correct so make sure your using that.

OK I think I found why I am getting confused

This xdf shows the VATS as disabled
83HoldenVS_V8_v2 (mask $83).xdf
(192.54 KiB) Downloaded 245 times

but this shows it as enabled
$83 VS V8 v1.01.xdf
(118.34 KiB) Downloaded 246 times

I will use the latter xdf, change to disable VATS and Prog ID word change to 170 or AA?
