I haven't used EFI Live, but I think that whoever created the XDF probably did, and they're B3207 and B3208 here.
Not sure if you've got a typo or if you're looking at different tables, but I'm pretty sure they need to match in DBW cars. There are two branches of code that do all of the DBW stuff and if the results don't match the PCM thinks something has gone wrong. It's like they were so suspicious of the whole DBW idea that they felt the code needed to test itself continuously.

Re: P59 Desired Pedal Area - Alternate
I had always thought they needed to match, until I found several bins for 2005 Tahoe. For whatever reason in the 2005 tahoe GM did not make them matching. The alternate table only goes up to ~65% throttle opening. Being that the 03-05 trucks, use the same TAC as a 2005 Tahoe it made me think that the tables in the PCM do not need to match. When I get a chance I`m going to try loading an 05 tahoe OS in the boat and see how it works.
Re: P59 Desired Pedal Area - Alternate
I think we're both right but we're talking about different things...
"Desired pedal area - normal" and "desired pedal area - alternate" can be different, as they're for different circumstances.
But there are also "desired pedal area - normal, redundant" and "desired pedal area - alternate, redundant" tables. So a total of four tables. The redundant tables need to match their counterparts.
I don't think HPT provides access to the redundant tables. I remember looking in their app years ago and seeing a warning about how you shouldn't change the throttle-related tables because you risk "permanent damage" to the PCM (I think that was the term they used). I found out about the redundant tables much later, and I think the problem they were talking about goes away if you change the primary and redundant tables together.
For example there's a primary+redundant pair of tables that map from "% opening area" to "throttle blade position" and I revised it a little bit when I switched throttle bodies. While I was experimenting with that I made a typo in one of them and got the "reduced engine power" message and had to remove the PCM to get to flash again. I don't recall whether it needed the ground-a-pin recovery mode or BDM recovery, but I think it was just the grounding trick.
The 7603 XDF seems to have all of them defined. There are a few others in addition to what's in the screenshot, and "pedal response - secondary - REDUNDANT" is one of them.

Re: P59 Desired Pedal Area - Alternate
Yeah we were saying the same thing. I was expecting the redundant tables but just could not find them before in the 7603 XDF. Once I saw your screenshot I was able to find them right away. I can`t remember what terms I was using to search for them before but it was the wrong ones. I will have to try swapping the boat to 7603 and see how it goes. Thank you!
