Thank you (IronDuke), this helps to confirm that there are (3) distributed controllers (DIM, RIM & IPM) that comprise the 'Body Control System'. Its yet to be learned which controller handles which specific tasks. I don't know but perhaps starting about this time in the GM architecture, the trend was to possibly create a distributed network of traditional BCM functions.
