I did get a log, but won't bother posting it because I found my /WE wire on the ECU had broken loose, and looks to have trashed parts of the bin.
I think that's what messed up my spark table last month too.
I fixed that wire up and started again with a fresh copy of Antus' G200W bin with a modified spark ref angle and KINJFLOW, put a rough exhaust together and fired it up again - this time no strange BPW cuts or random MALFs being thrown - and it's pulling a much more respectable MAP on idle
I spent 15 minutes last night sorting out a half decent idle, so now I just need to find a way of connecting the throttle up (need to convert the alfa's throttle linkage arrangement to a cable setup), do something more permanent about the fuel lines (currently the surge tank in the boot is serving as the fuel tank, and fuel and return lines run over the roof!) and tap a vac port into the plenum for the brake booster.
Then I can try to get the car moving under it's own power
I've got an NB o2 sensor fitted to the exhaust, but from what I've read on here I'd probably be wasting my time trying to tune without a wideband so will look into that. I'm hoping to be able to get the tune pretty close before trailering it to a dyno - having a private 1km long drag strip in my front yard should help me get it in the ballpark

the n/b will work ok for tuning the 14.7 areas of the VE table, but nothing outside of that .... it will all be guess work.

That's what I thought - and as it's a dedicated track car the 14.7 areas aren't of much interest to me

Time to start looking for a WB I think...

well its a good idea to get some rough numbers in them, you'd be surprised how much you use part throttle stuff!!

Don't forget It's a 35 year old stock 2L that only made 125hp at the flywheel when new, part throttle won't get me anywhere on the track

It's an old POS alfa with the dodgiest EFI conversion possible and an owner who refuses to spend any money on it - OF COURSE it's going to be shit to drive, and not just out of corners either!

i guess the big question is, can it be legally driven on the road, if so, would only take a few logs of driving around getting blms to get most of the VE table in the ball park!

No - can't be driven on the road. The slicks, 6 point cage, gutted interior etc would make it a little tricky to register.
I contemplated trying to get it on club plates, but not worth the hassle.
I've got 300 acres of flat ground to test it on, so don't really need to go out on the road anyway
