long gone are the solid staged nos systems people are PWM the soilinoids like injectors nowdays just ramp it in over time like using a couple of flex tables one for each kits fuel & nos solinoids and pwm board :D

does that work properly pulsing the solenoids with a wet system though ?

yeah I was reading that a lot of solenoids cant handle the duty cycle required to keep the frequency in line with rpm.

A lot of the progressive controllers are pwm.cheater solinoids are 6-7 ohms.you're need to find the d/c required to actually fire the solenoids via testing one at a time with pressure in them to get a safe dutycycle that you know will definitely open them.Nos is fun to play with but stupid things let it down.pipe lengths from solinoids etc make a difference to how fast petrol or nos gets to the engine etc

yeah that sort of stuff is the reason im not real keen to pulse them, more than happy enough with multi stages and full on/off :)

And on/off makes it way more fun ! Nothing like the feeling of someone dropping some ice or oil under your back wheels !

So its been a while but we've finally gotten all the bits needed to make this car go again!!!

so the main reasons this is off the road was because the converter didn't like NOS, so we've just gotten a new 4000rpm converter which should do the job nicely, this is also going to mean we'll be able to hit the gas on the line now instead of 5 mtrs down the track! also pulled the tranny down, its all good, but has flakes of metal all through it, so it got a thorough clean in preparation for the new converter!

Scotty also purchased another NOS bottle, it was mainly to have enough available for a full weekend of racing, as it turns out they sent the wrong size bottle, so paid a bit extra and probably now means we'll have enough for a full weekend with just one of the littles and the new big one :P

only concern we had was having to re-locate the mounts to suit the bigger bottle, but no need, fits perfectly and theres enough length in the NOS feed hose to go to the new location!

also got some racing numbers on the car, and a few NOS stickers front and rear so shes all legit now :)
WP_20150808_16_42_41_Pro.jpg
we gutted all the original commodore wiring only leaving what we needed in the engine bay and run fresh wires for the ECM/NOS/Lights etc and fitted a switch panel on the transmission tunnel with what we needed for ignition, 2 step and nitrous controls!

As you can see from the next few pics we have the 2 NOS nozzles installed, so we'll be good to go with multi stage NOS injections now :)

so we are in the process of finishing off the wiring and hopefully that will be done tonight then all systems go for Gunnedah this weekend!

Not knowing too much about NOS does the injection system have a calibrated amount of additional fuel it injects with the NOS to maintain air fuel ratio? If so how is it calibrated?

nah, its a wet nos kit... the nozzle sprays nos and the extra fuel. with this one, you tune the ecu with your wideband first, then you add the nos and fuel jets and tweak the jet size till your wideband comes back to where it should be.
