I'm still on xp sp2...
I tried again briefly this morning and still no go.
I did a clean install of TP5 a few times inc uninstalling and deleting associated TP files just to be sure.
When i run TP5 install i end up with ...My documents - plugins - tuner pro files..as seperate folders
Then down the menu ...My computer - local disk (C:) - program files - tuner pro.

I remember my early installs being all in the same Tuner Pro folder and not seperated in...my docs and my computer etc.
I did a clean install of XP a few weeks ago after the laptop played up.
I am using the new plug-in from last week but this is soooo weird.
I am also using the associated BLCF bin, xdf, and adx and when i pull up the dash display ,the wideband needle moves with my TP movement...like its a wrong XDF or adx.
Like i said before,i've had no problems installing TP5 or any of your OSE plug-in and $12P files without a problem at all and this has got me stuffed.
Tp5 recognises my ostrich2.0 and my interface cable inc comms but won't let me see OSE plug-in on the pref/interface type and emulation plug-in component menus.
I've unzipped the plug-in file into the plug-in folder numerous times and even into other tp folders for the hell of it and no luck.
cheers...mario

Maybe its because you have too many copys? I dont know what tunerpro does if it finds multiple DLL files, all with the same internal GUID and Version Numbers. Maybe it just ignores the lot? When you uninstall tunerpro, plugin files wont be deleted as they were not part of tunerpro in the first place. So this condition would outlast the uninstall/reinstall.

Ive just reinstalled xp pro and im having the same prob you are monaro 308.
Tuneroro wont open anymore with just xp pro you now need to update to sp2 before it will open.
Using the latest version of tunerpro it will not detect the ose plugin in preferences no matter where you copy it to .my documents/plugins ..... my documents/tunerpro files........or program files/tunerprort .Otherwise it works fine. Also updated to sp3 and same thing.
Same thing if i try any version after october when tunerpro file size dropped from 384meg to 250something meg.The early 384 meg version works fine.
Maybe tunerpro wont detect the plugin anymore unless your using win 7 ?
How did you go with it monaro 308 , did you get it working ?

be careful where you put it... looks like someone made a mistake :P its not supposed to go into Documents\Plugins.. it goes into Documents\tunerpro Files\PLugins. I just tried it on a winxp machine and the only place tp5 detected the plugin was there.

Im using it on xp sp3, latest tp5, plugin 1.2.1 and its ok. Tunerpro is heaps smaller than your talking though.

Perhaps its a virus scanner related thing, maybe it thinks the plugin is malicious and isnt letting it load. What virus scanners are you guys running? Try disabling them and testing.

When i install the latest version of tp5 ,i get 2 folders in my documents, 1 tunerpro files and 2 plugins .The plugins folder is not in the tunerpro files folder like you say c:mydocuments/tunerpro files/plugins.
What address do you have the plugin in antus ,and do i have to move the plugins folder into tunerpro files folder.
Also when i was saying the file size was 384 meg i meant the size of the file you download from tunerpro, and also im not runing any anti virus software at all.

It should be set up in the directory how Jayme has shown (he just tested it also). Old habits die hard and Im a stuborn bastard so I have under program files with tunerpro but technically its not right.

yeah the file path I wrote has always been the official place to put them.... I guess mark just made a booboo with the latest build and put it in documents by accident.

as written in the link below
http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadPlugins.html

I tested the prog files directory and documents\tunepro files\plugins on xp pro sp3 and both worked for me.....

I no that plugins folder is supposed to be the correct directory but for me it will only work if i put it in program files/tunerpro rt.
I tried putting it in there (program files) before but it wasnt working.
Im not sure ,but it seemed to work after i uninstalled/deleted all folders, then installed an older version that worked ,then updating with the latest version, without uninstalling the older version , and then putting ose plugin in program files/tunerpro rt.
Anyway working fine now

Thanks
