TBH, I just don't want to spend that much on something I'm going to hack up.......
I don't think there would be much point to getting the alloy blower gasket either unless you intend to run the standard outlet on the blower/LIM.
L32 is a bigger outlet than L67 anyway.

What ever coating MACE put on there rotors help with tightening clearances and improve efficiency of the GenIII blowers, lightening em also makes improvements.
My plan is to eventually machine out the bottom of the blower and then port the blower inlet which strangely enough was going to look similar to the Gen V inlet design.
At the end of the day, this is the missus daily, reliability is at the top of her list although if pushed she'll admit she likes it when she plants boot and it goes (like it should)......
Looking at the comparison photos my rotors look exactly like the Gen III pics so maybe my coating is totally intact. Not bad for a 190,000 km blower.

the original coating is actually epoxy, the gen 5 use a kind of lubricating graphite impregnated coating.

Not sure what MACE use but I believe the coating is done by HPC.

I have a set that were done by HPC, don't know what it is but it is that aqua looking coloured stuff they use on other blower rotors. It actually looks thinner on my rotors than the original epoxy coating.

My local mechanic has a brand new holden M90 and the coating is shite, uneven and caked on. looks like they just dip them? or spray them on too heavy. There is certainly room for improvement on the stock gen 3 coating.

Wonder if a few coats of something like this in the rotors would work

Yeah that was cool, I have seen it before & wonder why he used a three jaw & round bar to start with & not square bar stock & 4 jaw. But there was most certainly a reason for it & because he could !!
The one following, "The impossible dovetail join puzzle" was interesting too.
