I could swear I had bought a new water pump for the Calais but I can't find the bloody thing anywhere.... So I've just ordered a new one, MGB with cast impeller. Will also be ordering a new set of trans and engine mounts. The Calais has some weird vibes at idle and it still has all the original mounts so I'll change them all out for starters.

Thinking about extending the garage. I need more room to create a proper workshop.

Garage is under the house, currently 2 bays wide, full width of the house (8 meters). then 1.5 meter high concrete retaining wall/ piling support. Thinking about cutting opening in concrete wall and then digging out the next section under the house, put in a new retaining wall at the next line of piles and poring a slab of concrete. Hmmm, I wonder what the council will think of this? Would create an extra 7x2m² area approx.

I wonder where I could get rid of many cubic meters of soil/clay....

That's the million dollar question. Some say yes, others say no. I don't really know TBH but only one way to find out :) Apparently the mix of water/meth might have an influence on it.

2 options, spray into the blower or spray after the blower. I could drill/tap hole into the spacer. I have seen it done before but don't know how effective it was.

TBH, everybody says the rotor coatings peel off over time anyway and yet it looks my rotors are still perfect other than a little oil on em from the PCV system on a engine that's just passed 190,000 clicks......

I quizzed Aquamist a long time ago about this when I had the M112 Eaton. The response I got was “We usually recommend that you spray after because then you are only trying to cool the intake air and not all the metal of the supercharger. Basically it will give you a faster cooling effect when the spray starts - which will help reduce detonation”.

Not that I ever got around to setting it up on that engine to find out for sure. But as 202 said, would be difficult to get an even distribution across all cylinders if you inject after unless you can find a central point at the compressor discharge.
Regardless the coating did start to flake on those rotors too.

You could use a spray bar, similar to what is used in NOx installations, that goes from front to back of the adaptor and that will help with proper distribution.

what about port injection setup?
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

yeah I thought about that, would certainly work, but its also a lot more plumbing to make it work.
