Yea I’ll go smaller. I’m not going to let it beat me.

What's up with the secondary throttle plate (butterfly), it doesn't look like it fits properly.

The stop screw is wound in in that photo.

I noticed that too. Could use some centreing?

Old photo. Lol. Good observations team. I had to make that butterfly as it was missing. It’s elliptical.

Speaking of cam, my cam in my VP has similar specs but much tighter LSA, its 212º @050 and 470 lift with 109 LSA and 5º retarded for better top end/mid range at the cost of idle and low rpm.

Mine idles almost like stock at 850rpm, no stalling or hunting. But the tune is completely custom to suit. I never had to do anything like that with the IAC or even really open the throttle stop much. I still think the tune is the cause of the issue.

Don't forget the basics ie do the IAC relearn every time you swap something out.
Oh and the previous time I posted I think we posted together and my message may have been missed. What is the thickness of the reducer plates?

One degree is starting to split hairs, I'm wondering how the 'little V6' would fare on a more stock tune. Remember this tune is supposedly for this set-up.
All we are trying to achieve is a quick and dirty remedy.
