Yeah, I had it working in the tunerpro directory under program files on xp back when I was running it, but now that you have confirmed it works in the same location as win7 I have updated the first page and removed the OS specific notes. Thanks for letting me know

Hey mate I tried it with the plug in in the directory without the visual c++ add on and it didn't work did the vis c++ moved it into plugins with just v1.30 and it worked.

Now it's loaded up but have got no hardware found but can emulate and it downloads the bin with nothing in it so thinking might have a bad joint in the 5 pin plug or the extra write wire in the 808

You are prob using an old ADX for scanerpro by the file name you mentioned, if your using V110 (really should update to V111) there are ADXs with TP5 in the file name. Give the "OSE_$12P_v1.09_2BAR_TP5.adx" a go for logging.

Have you tried getting the cal using the flashtool? Might help diagnose if its a software or hardware issue.

I will update it all in the morning and use the current v111 files.

I haven't used the flash tool to check anything yet will do that to try diagnose the issue hoping its me just using the wrong files as I hot glued the wires to stop any arcing out so that will be a pain to pull off

Updates to OSE v111 files. Using xdf ose12p v111 1,2,3 bar adx ose_$12pv111_2bar petrol

Under device manager and ports I only have communications port (com1) and printer port. Not like another thread I found that had a USB serial port with comXX listed which leads me to believe that I do not have USB drivers for the USB board.
Not sure if I was meant to find them I here or have a cd etc with them??

On tp5 I have set the plugin and tried to initialize hardware but still comes up with hardware not found.

In flash tool hit connect with either of the ports abailble and USB 808 set and get no device found on com3 set and error executing txframe -5 the port is closed. from system.

This leads me to thing I do not have a USB driver??

when you plug in the usb board, while device manager is open, do you see anything pop up with a yellow exclaimation mark? that is likely the usb board requiring a driver.

the usb board is FTDI based. you will find drivers for it here. http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

No yellow exclamation mark coming up which is what is throwing me off.

Only thing that changes is under Universal Serial Bus controller is FTDI FT8u2xx device disappears with it unplugged

aha, you are using the wrong driver, you need the virtual com port driver. download the driver in my post above, then right click on that FTDI device and update driver, to the new one. it shoudl give you a virtual comport then.
