apparently the chinese are really strict about piracy so their customs confiscates the cds fromt he package before letting it out of the country, thats why it came with no disk.

Hi delcowizzid or anyone else that would like to comment. I finally had a chance to have a look at how the burner & Tuner pro work.I've checked out the modified chip & compared it with a std ATFY chip & it seems to have an odd timing curve. It doesn't seem to have a lot of timing.Maybe you could have a look at it for me & give me your opinion. :?

my opinion is you could make these things go a hell of alot better :D

your right about the timing, i would put alot more in if it was me .... but then again they having changed alot of settings that you would need to to make them run properly on methanol .... so they probably removed timing to get it rich enough on alcohol without changing injectors or settings etc.

Thanks for looking. This motor is fitted with a SC14 blower with 15psi boost & the throttle fitted before the blower.Should receive a 2 bar map sensor in the next couple of days,so will probably need change the chip to allow for the sensor? When looking at Tuner pro<the AFR uses a number of .17 for the modded chip & .18 for the std. What does this number represent? As I'm using a wide band AFR meter to log,"1" is stoich for fuels, numbers under this are rich & over are lean.eg: .75=rich, 1.1=lean. As the timing curve is low the EGT only reads about 600 deg f & should be about 1000/1200 deg f. In your opinion what would you do with the timing? When I tune Holden 6s on methanol I usually aim for about 38 deg total timing & all in by 2800 rpm.

ahh a blower changes things ..... maybe its not too bad timing wise .... but if you have a normal map sensor its probably not really getting what it needs on boost.

i'm not sure what your refering to with the .17 afr ?

I'm using Tunerpro it refers to"Stoichiometric Air/Fuel Ratio" when you double click on it the adjustment shows the AFR as .17.
