I will try that, but i'm sure I've gone to that before when I'm plugged in & it just shows me brief description of all sensor load points, like gauge screen but just all in writing & things like crank time, run time, veh speed, eng speed & so on, as I said I'll try it 2morro when i'm plugged in, but your pretty sure it will tell me what is flagged somewhere atleast?
What is evryone preferred tuning equipment whether it be real time or not, as I'm just getting started am I wasting my time with KalMaker or is it 1 of the best on the market?

you want to stick with the delco especially since the VT onwards the delco runs the dash and all unlike the older model commodores.i think haltech do a piggyback but im a delco nut and wouldnt even think of taking one out to add an ecu with less availiable settings.the piggybacks use the stock ecu to do the trans control and other things dont know if there is a real standalone ecu for full control of all the dash etc in VT.

personally i use VL400's realtime package on an 808 (as per the for sale section) and i use scanner pro for logging and tunerpro rt for modding the cal .... also use VL400's flashtool and i am running $12 code ....

its not as good as kalmaker as far as realtime goes but its far better as far as what laptop it works with!!

and im hoping with tunerpro V5 there will be better support for realtime tuning with the stuff i have now :comp:

i actually just realised you have a VX not VT have you rolled back ecu's to the vt ecu or something shouldnt you be using the W81+ software for VX at least thats what this table would suggest

I was told by Alan Gibbs at KalMaker, who runs the selling side of it not actually developing it, that the realtime boxes are the same, But I will confirm it with him as I told him what I wanted it for! & mentioned they have the same controls & features.

ah ok i was reading on there forum its normal for the check engine light to flash and cruise light to go on and off due to the serial board tying up the comms in the ecu so the bcm and other modules dont communicate properly everyone says it goes back to normal when you are all tuned and fit the normal ecu back in with the tune in it.or if you unplug the serial board it the ecu when finished tuning it will fix it too

BY The Way,

I loaded the SPK:IPS:MAXADV to 0 degrees & it made didley squat difference so it's back to the drawing board!

It goes from desired RPM 800 to around 1400 & sometime when going up down it gets worse & goes out of control & stalls, while this is happening the spark advance is going from around 25 - 35 degrees.

Maybe it would just be easier to let it go into open loop at closed throttle what is the easiest way to do this?

I went to list & view trouble codes & the list that comes up shows all the same none flagged, but in live view 1 weird thing is it has IAC:Flo OVR don't know what this means!
