If you need clearance look into the VQ trailing arms. Moves the wheels in 13mm a side ftom memory.
Depends whivh side you're wanying more clearance.

Got the 275s fitted to the rims and bolted on and the guard is sitting hard on the tire. good advice Dylan, guess what I'm half way through doing now? Lol for anyone playing at home vq to vs trailing arms are identical but vp vq rear stub axles are 19mm narrower than vr vs ones. Just waiting on new rear bearings to arrive then I'll put it all back together!

Vq stub axles fitted with new bearings, caliper spacers made and bolted up which required my shocks to be spaced out too but they're all on now but haven't road tested them yet as I'm re doing the front suspension before it gets a wheel alignment... might do the 6speed too if I get some motivation.

t56 is in now along with heads and manifold & i reckon the lokka is gunna come out, its too savage on the driveline! when i get some spare time to do some more tuning(possibly maxing out injectors too) it should be good but goes heaps better and heaps more responsive too! 275s hook up REALLY good compared to the 225s as well.

A mate of mine just fitted a tru track to his car. They work very well. Well recommended.
Was this originally a T5? I see a T5 set up for sale in Seymour im thinking i might buy.
PM me if you know anything about it.

Totally agree! Will also be changing to a trutrack as Dylan suggested, the lokka while great for never having a problem with single wheelers is clunky as.

Go a T-56, stronger box than a t5 and has that extra gear, I have 4:11's in the back and it's only doing 1800rpm @ 100. There not much dearer than T5's these days aswell

Definitely vl, maybe if it was an auto it would be more forgiving but I can see my fairly new cvs have some slop already and don't want to be replacing them constantly.
I've just put a t56 in hq355 and it's miles ahead of the t5 in shift quality noise and feel, with the new billet short shifter it is grouse to drive!
