Mrfiat's fiat 131
Re: Mrfiat's fiat 131
Ok im about to mark out my crank pulley for the trigger wheel. Ive added 10 degrees static advance. Can some one confirm what ive done here is right? Crank is set to TDC and is spinning clockwise. [EDIT]

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Mrfiat's fiat 131
I edited my post too. It was set to 10 degrees retarded before? now its advanced?
Re: Mrfiat's fiat 131
I think it was right the first time....
if its at TDC in the picture, then you want the slot to have passed the sensor 10 deg before then, lookign at your picture, if you spun that clockwise, it will fire 10 degrees after the TCD mark which is retarded.

Man im confusing the shit out of my self. Ok, so this is right then...?
Re: Mrfiat's fiat 131
looks right to me... notch passes sensor, and 10 deg after that you pass TDC. thats 10 deg advance, and the sync notch is in the correct place. thats exactly how we did the datto 1200's trigger wheel

Re: Mrfiat's fiat 131
actually just had a thought about the amount of notches ... what ignition module are you planning to use to control this ?
and this thing is a 4 cylinder right ?

Re: Mrfiat's fiat 131
the plate is the same for 4cyl and 6cyl.... I have used this exact template to run a 4cyl module before... its right
the 10 deg notch at the 10 oclock mark is for the sync notch... and it needs to be there.
