Open loop is just using the target AFR at that load point with no feedback from the O2 sensor to trim the fuel so its at stoich. It also does not swing rich/lean to make the cats work so emissions are worse even if its dead on stoich in open loop.

I would say, the VE tables are out somewhat, its just a generic tune. I don't even know whats in it or what the tables look like.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.
