quality of NB O2 these days
Anyone notice that that most O2 sensors these days don't last and start to fall over fairly quick.
I would be on my 3rd or 4th Bosch 4 wire in 3 years, one only lasted 30,000 or so Km and fell over completely ( errors immediately on the 808)
I find I have to change every 6 months if I want to stay on top of decent economy. Seen same sort of problem in other cars of ours as well.
My economy has dropped sharpy and about to replace yet again. Any suggestions of decent lasting make?
AC delco any good? is there other brands besides bosch and AC?

bosch narrowbands have always been crap, seen faulty ones out of the box and none of them ever had good crosscounts, stick to delphi mine are still going after a few years with 10+ crosscounts.

Re: quality of NB O2 these days
well i've never really had any issues with any sensors of mine, LC-1 and MTX-L both using Bosch sensors, also done 240,000kms in my VZ ute and still got the same sensors from the factory lol, from day one to today 10.5-11L/100 every tank.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

the VZ with alloytec 190 uses 2x bosch LSU 4.9 widebands in front of cat and 2x narrowband behind cat... so thats 240,000 k's on lsu4.9 widebands. not a bad run, but the lsu 4.9 are known to be long life.

Yeah Bosch are good at wideband.
The price of the NB might explain why they dont last long. about 45 each.
So get a delphi one? what is the factory brand holden use as I plan to call past and grab a VT 4 wire on the way home.

awesome, I will pick up one when I go home. So sick of seeing my gauge go down as I drive.
