i just did a vt that green goes to the 3 plugs by the firewall .you have to watch out for wire colours in the late model stuff its not industry standard colours for security reasons.

I haven't done a VY V6 loom but the VY V8 doesn't have the 3 plugs on the firewall possibly the V6 might not either.

i think he is talking about the 3 plugs that go into the PCM, which would answer my question that it does go through the ecu :)

That green wire does not go through the PCM. The EFI relay will supply a couple of fuses such as the injectors PCM and ignition module they are probably split up. Considering you have power at none of them fair chance the EFI relay (or whatever it's now called) isn't engaging.

sorry mate, i do see what you mean, good news everyone!!!!..........we have a delivery........jokes, WE HAVE SPARK!!!, also i have power to the injectors!!!, after coming across many seedy earths and power connections and a bit of testing, the loom connector that was conveniently placed under the air box that supplies power to the DFI module was not connected, and i got to relearn the ol lesson that assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!!, i thought the loom run along the bulk of the harness into the firewall, but after peeling the condue back from the loom and a quick look under the bonnet of my car, it was all so clear.

thank you everyone for our input and helping me get to the bottom of this!! now all i have to do is get her running( for whatever reason it didn't fire), and then its happy days.

Try the enhanced xdf for the vy pcms (see the1's enhanced thread in custom code area), make sure echo is set correctly (probably should be on). If still no luck give us all the details about files, plugins (if any) and what your doing.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
