so the ose12 v6 cal will work using the vr computer with the vs bcm if setup to use vs antitheft in the tune wasn't sure.
I was aware that vn vp ecm's didn't support the antitheft signal and had slower baud rate datalogging so antitheft had to be disabled if using the vr tune.
what about if the vn vp ecm is fitted with the usb board for higher baud datalogging supplied by vl400 do they then support the antitheft or was that part of another circuit.

holden08: im not 100% sure but triggering VS wire F6 with the VR C1 wire should work, but I think you should also trigger the other relay that is usually triggered by the BCM.

Dec_head - yes you can use the anti theft on a VN PCM if you use this board: https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=398

I might let VL400 answer for sure, but I dont think so.. that board redirects the comms to the USB, you need one that directs it back out the PCM pin so the BCM can connect to it.

ose12 is a custom based software designed to work with an nv ram and a delco computer
basically it allows you to make instant changes to the tune like the aftermarket computers do only in my opinion much better as it has more tables and functions suited to the holden.
And it has been forever improving fantastic stuff wth things like wideband learn as you drive it recalculates fuel mixtures and applies them as you drive.
Plenty of info in this forum if you want to learn more and people glad to help.

No, you will need the SXR emulator that Jayme linked to.

The selectable anti theft (VR or VS) in 12P changes the message that gets sent by the ECM to the BCM and also the expected response, V6 and V8 is the same message. Basically, if you have a VS BCM you need to use a memcal with a VS bin programmed to it if you want to keep the VATS - otherwise run a VR memcal with VATS disabled. If you use 12P then you can select VS anti-theft. The low speed fan will need to be wired differently regardless of which option you choose.

If you go mafless your going to need to retune it either way the easiest way would be with ose12 v6 cal nv ram wideband etc i would imagine.
Or somebody that has already done the mafless tune on an ecotech might be able to help you out.
