i had a VS motor which never had the EGR but i used that location for mounting the VN IAT!

i'm not sure if its in that bin or not but i did setup the charcoal canister purge solenoid to run off the flex table.

Cool ! Nice Info - Thanks heaps.

I'll check on the flex table stuff and see how it can be best utilised.

Hi guys , trying to tune an 89 Vet at the monment with $12P V111 and have also noted that TCC control seems to be reversed.
At this stage I have unpinned the TCC wire at the ecu to get correct trans operation on the Dyno and not go into lock up at WOT.
I still have to look at the issue of correct TCC operation.
Any more info on this VL400???
zspanners.

Anyone got some logs of this happening? Will need the cal that goes with it so I can test it too.

It seems to be ok on the bench using the downloaded 12P package. Sitting at a steady 80KPH with 2000RPM with 0% TPS - TCC locks once TPS is above 'TCC Params - TCC Low km/h coast load limit' and stays locked until the unlock table TPS for 80KPH. It then releases and stays released all the way to 100% throttle, ramped down TPS and it stays unlocked until below the lock table for 80KPH.

With the WOT issue of TCC staying locked, check what is connected to pin C7. If this is grounded the TCC will be locked almost all the time - its to signal the trans is in 4th gear and over temp, so locks the TCC to help cool it down.

i never had any issues with the TCC characteristics, both 202 and ecotec with hydraulic T700 and 808 using BLCD tune.

also brothers nitruous V6 commodore using $12P hasn't locked the TCC at WOT on the strip - but im not sure his high stall converter has lockup in it or not hehehe

I have Ecotech engine C22NE, 2.2L, L4 SOHC, MAP Sistem, no Oxygen sensor, no EGR, used 2 cooling fans (electric fans, 1 for engine cooling and 1 for AC system) and manual trans. 5 speed.....
Is OSE 12P compatible with this engine?

Thanks.....

its not a matter of what engine its compatible with its more a matter of what ECM Model its compatible with, what is the model of your current ECM ?

You mean this thread?

https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopi ... =17&t=2758

Its a pretty closely related ecu. It wont run 12p, but buying an '808 ecu from australia and wiring it in would probably mostly work, the ignition system would be the biggest question.

I see you have started a new thread, will leave a link to it here for any further comments https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopi ... =15&t=2795
