Fairly much spot on. On the VX the way the IAT sensor loom is routed I just unwrapped the loom and re-routed it. Both sensors use the same plug.
On the L67 Torque forum there is a thread with a pic on where to drill/tap the LIM.

Cool, I will check that out.
Did you wire in 2 bar MAP sensor to log boost pressure? On the spare 0-5v inputs?

I use one of VL400's external ALDL2 dataloggers but yes you can wire a 2 Bar MAP sensor into on of the extra pins to log boost data.
This is the thread you want

So this week I think I'll start work on doing the VS ecotec fuel rail conversion. Should look something like this

Although I would like to try and re-use the factory quick disconnect flex fuel lines.
Instructions for the VS fuel rail conversion can be found here

What's the gain here?

90% aesthetic, 10% functional.....
The factory rail has 4 nasty 180° as well as another 6 90° bends, it also crisscrosses the blower a couple of times which makes it very susceptible to heat soak from the blower.
So in theory it will greatly reduce the heat soak issue, make life much easier for the fuel pump and look better doing it
It also means I can remove the blower without having to lift off the fuel rails first which will be handy as I'm intending to modify the blower housing etc in the future.

Can't lose! Never heard of this mod, good work.

pretty common in the states for the stock pipes to be replaced with rails like this, mainly to stop fuel boiling in the pipes which does happen with high boost making the SC get real hot.

Doesn't require high boost unfortunately. Even with the stock pulley the fuel rail was to hot to touch just like the blower casing

Currently I have the standard rail covered with insulation which does a reasonably good job but looks crap.

So a little progress this morning. Found the old ecotec intake manifold and removed the fuel injector rails, so we start with this.
Then I stripped it all down, cleaned it up a bit and then cut off the mounting tabs and filed it all down so we end up with this,
Next I'll take em to work, clean em up more with some wet&dry and then give em a quick polish on the buffing wheel.
I'll take my old LIM to work as well, give it a big birthday and them maybe put it on the mill and open it up to suit W2A, It may end up been swapped onto a mates car and then I can sell off what I end up with.
A point of interest, our old VS was 1997 production model, the factory reg on the rail is marked 350Kpa....
