Re: VT V6 into Gemini
Great to see the weight to engine capacity has changed. It's been a few years since I had any involvement. It used to be 3X the original weight for a car like the Gemini and I see they raised it to 4X. 3.8 works out just fine for the Gemini. Did know Col but haven't seen him for about 8 years now. I know he and many others dipped out when the RTA emptied the bucket and started again with much tougher regs and possible costly outcomes with their cheaper but lousy insurance scheme.

Re: VT V6 into Gemini
It comes under VSB14. It started in 2012 and allows up to 4X the the original weight for that category of car and I would assume the Gem would be around 950kgs. Might be a bit out but it should allow a 3.8L engine. It does reduce quiet substantially the allowance for forced induction bigger cars. I have been thinking about applying under the new scheme but I keep thinking of undesirables knocking on my door demanding their car get certified or they shoot me. I am sure you understand.

Re: VT V6 into Gemini
ahh yeah thats slightly more leanient than what i remember!
according to this and a gemini (i know my TG at least was 970kg) = 3880cc max
this means i can put up to 6950cc's in the bedford lol

Read the statement just above that table and it says MC vehicles such as commercial vans there are no set recommended limits. Pretty good hey.
