had more days of snow but i think its over now and i did manage to get into the shed the starlet is in and get her stripped out heres a pic of its condition as of end of tonights mission
check out the tinted tailights LOL cant get any more tinted than flat black

yeah i quite liked the urban cammo theme but the customboard is heavy and had to go LOL.im actually getting worried allready take a 749kg car lift the carpet OMG sound deadning theres some weight gone allready seats gone dash nearly gone shes gonna be sub 1000kg race weight

another few spare hours on the starlet today rest of the dash is out and a dirty old vr engine from on the front lawn in for mockup clearance checks heaps of room for big long wanky drag headers :D

yeah looks like it will fit nicely, and the engine mounts are pretty straight forward looking.

that removable radiator support is handy!

yeah i have 2 TTT aftermarket mounts im going to use mounting the engine is a peice of cake really dont even need to make a sump LOL but it will need a bellhousing clearance chop and gearbox tunnel widening job :mrgreen: and well something maybe more substantial welded into the floor to take a gearbox crossmember the stock attachment points look like they would last 2 minutes LOL
i love the removable front i used to lift in 4k's by hand when i had my last corolla :thumbup:

Thats going to be a wicked ride Mike! I have a vn engine ready to go in my ke35 with a big holset turbo . Looking forward to seeing how you do it. It might be worth while make two of each as the spece is similar. My engines 300ml further back under the dash though. All the parts are here just need to make room in the shed. ....that means finish the 8 year 260z project.

Hey , I am in wellington on the 17th of sept. Got another wine tasting to do. Wouldnt mind catching up. Would be after 5 before i head back home.

i just chopped out a huge peice of firewall and tunnel i think ill have mine back a we bit too LOL steering colomn linkage is going to get in the way of one header tube if i go to far or ill have to make one go round it :P 4 link mounts etc are being cut out and header flanges shes all go. even had the vr's trick inlet manifold on it today fits under the bonnet no worries .
ill be round somewhere mate never go too far LOL

un spot welded the old mounts today and sat the motor and a 4l60e case in the hole :thumbup: heaps of room in there now . the motor has to go down yet its sitting on a 6x2 block untill i dig out a sump and will go back maybe a little more once i trim the firewall a little more didnt want to cut it too big from the start LOL
