I think its to do with that. Try using 60 in one or both of the packetbodylength fields in the 11P_1baA.adx file, and 57 instead of 75 in the packetsize. Even if your using it with 2 bar or 3 bar just use it the same 1 bar adx and use the right ADX for the PC, on the PC, and it should scale the MAP fine.

Horray it's now working. It was the ADX file. This is the one I'm using with the logger and 11P.

Nothing I had a vague idea there was another ADX that VL400 wrote and stumbled across it in a file I had. When I have time I'll go thru it and see just what the difference is. I do know the std XDL file won't work with the logger.

Has anyone had issues with their ALDL Logger V2 not powering up? Kojab from the Forums has helped me to do some quick tests with a multimeter. We have ruled out the cable being the problem. We get power on the lower circuit board and the pins sending power to the upper circuit board which supports the display. We assume the display module has stopped working.

Before we start desoldering all the links to separate the two boards, Kojab suggested I post on the forum to ask, if anyone has experienced problems with their ALDL Logger V2 and if so, can you please provide some feedback on any repairs you have performed? Also if it ends up just being a faulty display does anyone know if they're still available and where the displays can be purchased?

Mine I have to wedge the serial board port on the ecu with the logger it's like it doesn't like the db9 plug touching the case

I've had a bit of experience with logger screens, my person one the backlight failed, i was able to replace it and all good again, i've also had issues with no recording of logs, but in my case it was a new SD card and off it went, been looking at the same issue for Gareths logger, new SD card didnt fix it.

one thing to check when the backlight fails the screen still works, you can usually see it if you shine light on it at the right angle, theres a few pins up the end of the screen BLA and BLK, i believe these stand for back light anode and back light cathode .....

BLK (first pin from the left when looking at the logger from the top) is controlled by the logger through a transistor to turn the ground on and off (dependant on the backlight setting in the logger) you can ground this to go 100% backlight and confirm its not the issue.
BLA (second pin from the left when looking at the logger from the top) this is 5v to the backlight with a resistor, i cant recall but i had a feeling it was 3.3v or similar, anyways if it has no voltage on it that may be your cause too.

this is not the actual logger screen, its just one i found on google, but shows the power / ground / bla / blk pins.

aside from that, i can only suggest your screen is the issue, and if that is the case, i found it very hard to find the right screen recently, new ones look right but they are SPI, the two CS lines that we need are not on them and they dont work on the logger (PSB & NC in above pic)!

as for removing the screen, i have found a few ways to do it, back when VL400 was still around he told me to cut the pins with a grinder, or side cutters, then once the screen is off, remove whats left with the soldering iron, then install a new header strip with the new screen. You can also blob a heap of solder on the top and run the iron along the pins and slowly pry it up but this is a more risky method and painfully slow
