If you had hydraulic lock then something is desperately wrong. Top fuelers run without suffering hydraulic lock and the a/f and compression ratios are alot higher than a stock block 202 will ever see.

its not hydraulic locking when running ... methanol starting cold is the reason it does it .... cranks and cranks without firing and is very easy to flood it ..... these days I try to spray some assistance into the inlet before starting it

Have you got flow figures for the head?
Are you planning on any port work?

I am planning to install it as is to begin with, it will be more flow than the head I had, and when it comes time to service it then i'll look at some more porting etc.

makes the ported 12 port ive got look crap, pitty you werent a millionaire and you couldve gone Jzed :)
why have one 202, when you can have 12 and counting, 30+ car graveyard just for fun aswell

yeah probably would be keen on jzed if it didn't mean custom manifold.
