you should be able to run both with two com0com pairs, and the dos version of antusprom. when you do this you need to change the scanner pro definition and enable rs232 echo. or better yet wait for the flash tool to be able to do it, or better again a Tp5 plugin so you dont need any extra software or drivers in the background. Cant say when that'll be at this stage, though.

Might have to wait i am sure i had antsuprom working in dos at some stage before i had a mental overload lol
but now i can't get it going again keeps read failing i have tried version 5 and both 7's quite a few times and numerous settings might need to start from scratch and download all the files again.

if you can make do your probably better of waiting, were certainly keen to improve the usability. I was thinking the flashtool emulator would still be useful to those with some kind of an external wideband logging/display system such as a naw_7s.

theres lots of things its good for, like idle speed settings, fan on / off stuff ... i was playing with that the other day, set it to a high number to get the fan off, changing the iac steps for fan on, then put the number back to its right setting so the fan comes on and seeing how much effect it had on engine rpms .... ended up adding a few more steps to my tune for fan on cause i have two fans so it needed a bit more idle rpm to transition smoothly.

and yeah definately love how responsive it is now with only sending the one change as it goes!

Yeah i changed idle timing and could notice it almost instantly notice the difference need to free up some more money for a wideband but shouldn't be to far off i hope. I have to get rid of a few cars so i can get this one back on the rd again.
I will have another go at dos antusprom before i give up.

just a thought, maybe some other application had a lock on the com port. try getting antusprom started up without running tuner/scannerpro, if you havnt already.

another thought ... you might need to close scanner pro after making changes to com ports etc ....

even rs232 echo settings sometimes don't work without closing it first.

It is kind of working with antusprom with echo it is trying to read from the ram but read fails retries heaps.
eventually gets it after 10 or so retries it gets a segment then goes to the next address it takes ages to load the lot like 10 minutes or more some of the addresses seem to load straight away every now and then it is going so quick i find it hard to tell.
is their a way to slow down the process from what i have been reading it is like it is timing out .
Any suggestions

When antusprom is reading the ram it seems to get a certain percentage then fails then keeps saying read retry fail and retyring and eventually gets it and moves to the next address wch i assume is the hex address. This is a copy of it
