Cool I'll check it out at work in the next day or 2 & get back to you unless anyone beats me!
So it works ok with stock triple apart from odo reading wrong & srs warning coming on?

Re: VT-VX Clusters
flashing the triple with the single eef made it useless, i think maybe i'm not using the software properly it's confusing as it allows you to edit the dump that isn't part of the saved eef dump, i think this is where the programing data is and, changes are made. it does display the ODO value in the first 2 lines .
waiting to see how tazz goes with it, enjoy lifting the pins and soldering to them, i've become an expert at it

Re: VT-VX Clusters
Yeah but if you put triple LCD cluster in your car what happens?
Is the only issue odo reading incorrect & the srs warning light?

Re: VT-VX Clusters
Well just taking a quick look at the clusters..

That may be the problem.. single clusters do not have all the required components! (possibly the problem)
Programmer hopefully roll up this week or next week.
Pretty sure Im going to become pro with raising legs! More worried about getting a clean connection actually.
Im assuming somewhere in the bins will be the cars Vin number/serial number? as I think the eeprom vx clusters had the vin in them.
Quick compare of the clusters show alot of similarities.. they must be the MCU instructions as they should be constant all round.
Madmn, did you end up hooking up mode/set button to the cluster? as you were saying you cycled through the screens.

Yeah unfortunately it's not similar layout to other dash dumps, so without having or knowing the software I might have to leave it for Tazz once he gets his gear!

Re: VT-VX Clusters
yeah hooking up the mode button is very easy and works just like in the car, look back a couple of pages for details
i ended putting the single back in, but now that i've restored the triple i'm going to put it in tomorrow as my original cluster has an annoying fault

Re: VT-VX Clusters
Sorry Madmn,
Still trying to figure out what you want to do?
The single is your original? What's the annoying fault?
Why didn't the triple work in your car before? What did you have to restore on it?
