just play by the rules LOL. minimal backpressure ,ample intercooling, safe a/f ratio ,dont push the timing as it comes on boost ,a good surge tank setup and huge pump and luck i spose LOL

low timing when it comes on boost is probably the most important as thats where it will want to knock like a bitch.and good boost control

slap a reground cam in it and stock gaskets and go hard LOL as soon as you start looking at upgrades it gets expensive mls gaskets arnt cheap and really require block and head machining and along with headstuds the cost is allready up there.its much safer to use stock gaskets and headbolts as the gaskets will go before you smash the bottomend to bits

well half of the driver side middle cylinder head gasket is sitting in the valley!

found out whats caused the issue too ....

it looks like when my brother put the wastegate vaccum hose on he put it on the end of the gate, so basically the more boost it made the more it held the gate shut!

atleast it explains why it felt like it went so good hahaha

probably could have seen up to 30 psi in there :P

haha awesome gasket.

so how much can these engine take reliably? in terms or boost and power output.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.
