In about 2004 I had a code 24 speed sensor fail on the VR V8 conversion in the VL I just bought. Had no idea on anything Delco, and after getting the run around from local 'experts' decided to take a look myself.

The missing speed sender kinda snowballed out of control and ended up where things are today :wtf:

lol, I remember coming across this forum in search of my code 24 as well.

But I never did find the answer, as my code 24 was occurring when idling in neutral, still parked.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Delcowizzid got me over here in the 2009 draft  from JC.
He and greenfoam @ JC were very helpful in the early stages when I delco'd my 5.0lt red motor mod using the original 4 barrel manifold and making the plenum.
Delco helped me understand the burning/stacking side of things.
Haven't had a chance to play for a couple of years on the munro because of the VT track car and the mrs passing away, but will get back into it in the next few months.
Always wished I could help out more on here (if I knew more) but alas all I can do is contribute :D
There is no anger on this forum and ALL questions get answered with the purpose of helping you out and not feeling like you asked a stupid question....like other sites.

Yeah Dazza I still have it and have no intention of getting rid of it.
Just paid another $712.00 for rego and hardly get a chance to drive it and said stuff it yesterday. I dropped off the VF sv6 at my mums and will drive the munro for the next few days.
With the rattles, wind noise, floaty steering,i still love driving it.
