You're saying there's a cleaner solution than this?!?
Hopefully the VE VSS works out and we can just run it through a schmitt trigger and be done with it. Must be a reason manufacturers have moved away from VR.
With no pid control if you creep up to the rpm it'll hold it, if you punch it it'll overshoot, overcompensate and stall the motor.
The valve spring seems to run out of travel easier today. Maybe it didn't like being fully compressed over and over. That'll definitely need addressing before I can rely on the pid control but I think we're close now! Or closer than we were this morning.

Is what I use ... Mind you, I am no EE, or even electronically experienced or educated ... I'm just a trial by smoke hacker!
And holly smokes they must have started making them out of platinum plated gold ... They sure got pricey! ~$5us.

It worked, though I couldn't get the code working right to automate a pull, i had to do it manually with a second handbrake style system. I was considering getting an electric power steering pump and using a needle bypass valve to control brake pressure but in the end I just bought a chassis dyno

Hsv08 you allready have the retarder just buy a dynomation setup if you can find one think he's closed up business now or any of the other branded control boards on the market we run Dynomation at work runs great

Yeah I’ve got the full YourDyno acquisition system and eddy current controller for my one.
Shafts are back from being keyed. Will re assemble this week. She’s a super tight fit.
Funny enough, a few weeks ago I came across a Telma C120 which would have been the original one for my bed. I brought it anyway and tested it then on sold it.
If it had of come up 2 years ago I wouldn’t have brought the CFK500!
Thinking I might start a build thread, but was following this one before it went dark and only came back across it the other week.
